In volume, the human activity which uses the most treated water is the agriculture, with 68% of the consumption, and then follow the human consumption (24%), the industry (5%) and the energy production (3%).

Resources can be natural (river, groundwater) but sometimes it is not enough and it is necessary to use alternative ones:

• recylcing used water
• seawater desalination

Drinking water: to abstract, treat and supply community and consumers with water.

Industrial sector: boiler houses, cooling systems, fire protection,...

Wastewater treatment: to collect and treat used water, and then supply again with water.

TECOFI products can be used for drinking water, in the industrial sector or for the wastewater treatment.
